Well, I'm kinda bored with this story, compared to S E Hinton's books. The protagonist is not quite a fleshed out character. He's more like a witness, an observant. And I couldn't really get a sense that he really wanted anything in his life. He's just living submissively. The book is devoid of a good "story" that makes you empathise with the character. It's hollow. Having said that, I really like the worldbuilding.
