When I stood on the cliffs and looked down, I was sickened by what I saw. There were bodies lying everywhere. I realized that to be the pharaoh, I’d have to spend the rest of my life in battle. Always plotting and vanquishing. I’d have to send men to war, not because they wanted to do battle but because of my desire to stay in power. I’d have to plot and counterplot to keep ahead.
