12-8. Pg364. I like that the plot is unique; I haven't read a contemporary like this before. I'm glad it's a rumor, otherwise it would be really upsetting, & I hope there's nothing else upsetting in here. I like the humor, just hoping the heroine isn't like the other two. I want a strong MC w/ a backbone. The dialogue is too dramatic, so that's a negative. Didn't get too far. I'm excited to see what'll happen next!

I'm so glad I'm done with the second story. This was boring, there was no conflict or drama to make it interesting. Everything went smoothly & went too perfect, which doesn't make for a good read. I couldn't connect to the MC's & I didn't like the flowery, dramatic, old-fashioned writing. I'm gonna wait to start the 3rd story tomorrow. I hope it's a lot better than the first two.

12-6. Pg280. The author isn't really capturing a male POV. I don't like the writing. It's been pretty annoying. So much more could be done with their past. There's no conflict or anything to make it remotely interesting. I'm not connecting to the characters or the story. I want to be done with this.

12-5. pg220. There's an overuse of exclamation points that's already annoying. I like that they have a past; this could be cute. Heroine is a little on the desperate/pathetic side and the writing is a tad dramatic & flowery. Nothing has been funny and it needs some humor and engagement.

12-5. DNF first story at pg 33. Asshole, misogynistic, antiquated hero. Pathetic, embarrassing heroine. This book was pissing me off. I'll probably never attempt to read this again.
