This book takes place at hogwartz school of which craft and wizardry in Britain and is about Harry Potter, a brave and curious kid who has magical powers. While at hogwartz, Harry finds out about the sorcerers stone, a stone that has eternal life and is worried that someone is going to try and steal it. With the help of his new friends Ron and Hermione, they attempt to stop the theft. This book is told in 3rd person.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s stone is a character driven story. I believe because it is driven by Harry’s feelings, thoughts, and actions to find who he really is and defeat evil. Events even like the return of lord Voldemort have happened because of Harry.
