I usually really enjoy 19th century Russian authors but struggling a bit with this Tolstoy novel, finding it a little bit heavy going despite its enormous detail about a world and lifetime that no longer exists....I will keep on reading & hope for some progress....

Finally finished, the stories got a little more interesting as I persisted with this book but would only recommend it for real afficionados of russian literature.
