Just finished the first story, Captured Beauty, by Milton Davis. The plotting was fairly simple, but more than made up for by solidly adventuresome prose, and characters I definitely need to revisit!

Awakening, by Valjeanne Jeffers is done. Exciting, if a touch violent. I loved the part where they traverse the tunnel under the Edo walls. Still very happy with this anthology.
