Whilst I do enjoy Agatha, Charles, and the quirky mysteries, with each passing book the fat-phobia gets more pronounced and offensive. It's one thing to have a lead character who clearly suffers from insecuries, diet culture, and perhaps some body dismorphia, but to have every character viewed from that lens is more than off-putting. I was particularly disturbed by the description of Jennifer Williams on pg 25.
