Sher, I'll be interested what you think of this book; I love orchids.

Great book. I would highly recommend it -- I have two orchids coming I have not tried before. And since they like more light and heat, I plan upon putting them in my greenhouse, which is a combo of cactus, succulents, and tropical plants -- all dong extremely well. I appreciate the man y years of the author's experience, and that he covers many different types of orchids in detail, which is very helpful, if you want ry growing them. I am going to try Lady's Slippers. I did not know these can be extremely long lived -- over 20 years if properly cared for. What do you grow? In your house? or...?

Tried to grow this in Alaska without much success, but I am trying again. :)
