Second re-read of this treasure. I last read it when I was sixteen - the age, coincidentally, of Meg at the beginning of the story. My sisters, coincidentally, were the ages of ... all the rest of the March girls. And we each somewhat shared the personality of each sister we were the same age as. We were also all reading the book at the same time.
Needless to say, this book holds some rather fond memories for me ;D
