who is surprised that i am invested in another kid's book series? one of my favorite parts of the first book was the emphasis on hansel and gretel figuring out that their parents are just people and their journey to forgive them, and i'm pleased to say that this book looks like it will have some similar themes. it reminds me of the series of unfortunate events in that way.
