I love what you say about not wanting to read for the sake of it and not putting an emphasis on the number. I have found, at this stage in my life, reading makes me feel better. It is the most stimulating form of media for me, and it improves my mental health and overall mood. I've dealt with emotions in so many ways and they adapt as I age. Right now, its reading.

I love this sentiment Caroline, about honoring/processing/coping with emotions in the way that feels most healthful and adaptive for you in any specific moment or stage of life. Thank you for sharing your approach and it's heartwarming to know that reading does for you a similar function of what it does for me!
