I have to admit that I've struggled to keep going with this one, although I enjoyed 'Natural Causes' and loved 'The Damage Done'. I kept going because I wanted to.

Things looked up when Mrs McCutcheon's cat, thinner but grumpier, made her first appearance.

Now at chapter 28, the story seems to be hotting up and here's hoping it'll be another excellent James Oswald novel.
