Have read a quarter of it so far; I did have a little trouble tracking the names initially but it's a sweet and gentle read with a clever premise. The first part left me with a smile and the pleasure of what was to come. A surprise birthday gift which has really hit the mark.

I glanced at another review as I was entering this book here, and they noted (critically) that the book was written as if for theatre. I thought it odd, but they're not incorrect in a sense. It is very sparse in some senses, which for me is actually part of the pleasure of it, and the entire book takes place in just one room. In that sense, I imagine that it is somewhat inevitable? Still loving it.
