This is so nitpicky, but holy hell, there’s a lot of switching between third person limited and third person omniscient.

Tbh I wish she’d just given Ron and Hermione third person limited POVs bc that would add so much to the series and would also eliminate this issue, but I stopped expecting good things from JKR a while ago.
