- Is the multiverse really saved in the Amber Spyglass by two twelve year olds having sex? O_o
- For all Philip Pullman seems to take pride in his stories having a logical and scientific core, there's an awful lot of hokey spiritual nonsense in them, like, the Knife that can cut reality not being able to "Cut Love".
- The whole angle plot in the Amber Spyglass was kind of pointless too.

- The levels of Bestiality in Lyra's world have got to be unusually high, what with people constantly being followed by a talking animal of the opposite sex.
- Are Daemon's present as fetuses inside the mother, or do they magic themselves into existence after birth?
- The Amber Spyglass as an item, and the whole plot around it was pointless and dull come to think of it...

Story is still dull. It's got my mind wandering onto other things like:
- The Parent/Child dynamic in the world should be F***ed. How do you say no, or discipline a child when a tantrum could result in them sending a Lion after you, have a rampaging bull destroy the house?

Wow, this book is really dull. I don't remember the original trilogy being like this.
