i do NOT get the relationships in this book, literally why CAN'T malina make out? because at some point in a hypothetical future she's going to marry a man for power that she, at the point, doesn't love or have a relationship with? is that why? cuz before it was because she flinched and is power hungry but not now! now hes unheathily obsessed with a fucking tattoo for her but god forbid they kiss
