Almost half way through and I still have no idea what the academy looks like. Bad world building. Where is the pretty prose?? All I've read is either her being judgemental of everyone else or drooling over the history professor -_-

She's getting annoyed of the awkwardness between herself and her roommate when SHE was the one to cause said awkwardness???? She hasn't even made an effort to talk to her and avoids her every chance she gets but she's annoyed when the roomie doesn't want to speak to her?? Someone save me

I'm confused. She hasn't even tried to integrate into the academy because of the prejudice she has against it and hasn't even tried to make friends except with the history professer??? And then she complains about people acting a certain way towards her? What did she expect to happen?
