The first chapter had me contemplating the aftermath of our stuff when we inevitably pass away. "You can't take it with you," as they say. I think of my elderly mother, and her current mission to downsize and eventually sell her five bedroom family home. I became suddenly grateful for the huge favor she is doing for our family. I feel inspired to be more mindful of my own consumption habits after reading this chapter
