The Gorgon in the Cupboard by Patricia A McKillip - 4 stars
Her writing is just so gorgeous. I love reading her prose. The story was a fully contained story with interesting twists on the idea of an artist's muse. Some parts were not as clear as they could be so I was confused as to what the unveil was but I enjoyed it all the same.

An Elegy for Melusine by Claire Delacroix - 3.5 stars
I felt quite bad for Melusine but this story started off slow and slowly wrapped me up.

Fallen Angel by Sharon Shinn - 2 stars
This story was so slowly paced and the real plot didn't happen until much later. I didn't care about the characters and the romance didn't convince me. Also I'm pretty picky about angel stories.

The Tale of the Two Swords by Lynn Kurland - 4.5 stars
Omg, this story was so good. It was so sweet and fun and reminded of those old fantasies like Crown Duel and Ella Enchanted that I loved. Definitely more eager to try picking up her series now.
