Here is the true liberative ethical question: do we fight for justice because we know we will win, or do we fight for justice, regardless of the outcome, for the sake of justice alone?

If we argue that the greatest threat to human dignity is a savage militarized capitalism that dehumanizes people for the sake of profit and is excepted virtually as faith; then the only hope of resistance for the worlds disenfranchised may lie within their own faith traditions. Rather than religion being the opiate of the people, its more liberative interpretations might prove to be complicit in their salvation

Beyond the historical experiences and the social locations where individuals act as social agents, truth cannot be ascertained.

This abundant life that Jesus claims to offer reveals that God is a God of life, not a God of death. Structures or individuals that being death are Anti-Christ. Hence, the gospel message of liberation that is found in Christ stresses liberation from all forms of oppression, be they social, economic, political, racial, sexual, environmental, or religious.

To be converted to Christ meant being converted through the Christlike liberative actions in which one engaged.

Not surprisingly, the rich get fewer yet wealthier, while the poor continue to grow as a slip into greater poverty. Ironically, those who benefit from these arrangements have constructed a type of Christianity that justifies global structures responsible for much of the world’s economic misery.
