Just beginning an interesting read from a fellow Louisiana indie pubbed author who was featured as winning the Louisiana Project Author award... I have to say the beginning so far has been pretty predictable and a little disappointing, but, I always give a book 3 chapters before DNF'ing, and there are some interesting world-building elements i'm curious to see if she leans into. Wish me luck!
