Just checking to make sure you read the prequel to this story ... it's in the After the Dark: The Darkest Angel/Shadow Hunter anthology with Gina Showalter. It is no longer available in ebook, but the audio is available through Audible Escape.

I had missed that! Will I be able to listen to that though if it is book 4.5 in another series? I may try it!
The 4.5 story is the Gena Showalter story. You may like those books as well, but I suggest reading from the beginning there. The Kait Ballenger story is the 2nd story in the anthology and it is the prequel to the Twilight Hunter. It's not a romance, and it explains a lot of why one of the characters in Twilight Hunter is the way he is.

I double checked the audiobook and Gena Showalter's book is Chapter 1-13 ... and Kait Ballenger's book, Shadow Hunter starts at chapter 14.
