The description of the way he chose to kill that store guy is gonna make it tough to continue thinking of him as a "good" guy (i.e. liking/rooting for him). He started out innocent but then tortures a guy to death in a pretty horrendous way and doesn't even feel guilty? Course maybe the drug is suppressing that side of him....
