This would be better without several small things niggling me; now there even is a murdered older brother who wasn't mentioned in the family until Matt, the MC, was 15 years old??? And then the timeline gets out of order...

Friend of mine didn't find out till after he had left highschool that he'd had an older brother who had died in a car crash when my friend was a newborn. They took down all the photos of him and no-one was allowed to mention him :(
