No! It’s gone south. One doesn’t just fall in love like a high schooler in a setting like Auschwitz. The storyline and language has gone flat and childish. Nuance has left the building. ;( This can’t be a Harlequin romance. When one is in survival mode romance takes back seat to like.....food. This portrayal of Gita giggling like a schoolgirl with her girlfriend is offputting and completely out of place.
