I watched the first episode last night and it was pretty good! Garfield stole the show, of course. But Odie is pretty awesome, too. The only thing I didn't like is that there was an episode break in the middle of an already-short episode. So, they broke the 22 minutes into two shows, with a recap in the middle. Not a huge deal, just kind of strange. I'm definitely going to watch more episodes, though. The writing was good, with lots of funny lines, and the animation style took some getting-used-to (it very different from the vintage cartoons), but it reminds me of some video games I play.

Ohh I don't remember that happening when I watched it. But it easily could have because that seems to be the modern thing unfortunately so it doesn't surprise me. Ads are everywhere. I HATE how YouTube has overloaded videos with ads. Anyways off topic. I'm glad you liked the show. Like you said. It's definitely not the original or better but it's still good because the jokes are there. I think the very first time I saw it I didn't like it based purely on the animation. But then I gave it another go because it was on Netflix and I wanted something on in the background so I chose that. I didn't intend to actually watch it but I did. It does have the video game feel to it doesn't it.
