Maybe it's just me, but I don't really like R.C. Sproul kids' books. I think this book (maybe Knight's Map?) is the best of his that I have read, but still, there's something missing.

I think what's missing is the simplicity and imagination. IMO, true kids books require less words than more.

I've heard Lightlings is a great book. Maybe I'll try that one.

Unless I get burned at the stake for not liking his books.
