What a transformation! This book has turned my opinion in the opposite direction. I'm converted.

I don't want this to end. It gets better and better.

If Laurent is so smart then how is it he does not know? This is one of two problems I have with this book. As a reader I feel I know more than the characters with the exact same information! The author is either undermining her characters or undermining me. The second problem is despite this I must know it it ends. I'm sighing now due to exasperation.
