Let me get this straight: Egan and Jordan were high school sweethearts. He went on to get engaged to Shanna. Shanna was held hostage by a madman and Jordan was the hostage negotiator. Shanna jumped in front of Jordan when the madman fired his gun, which killed her. Egan blames Jordan for Shanna's death. And now Jordan has received one of Shanna's kidneys.
That is several levels of hackneyed.
