I haven’t read a paperback book in a long time, and I just found myself touching a word on the page and holding it there for waaaaaaay too long before I realized what I was doing and that the definition of the word wasn’t going to pop up! 😂🤣

I did something similar myself... found myself attempting to highlight and save a quote. Doesn't work quite as well in the hardcover edition! :-)

LOL - I did this once in the first chapter of the first book I read this year in hardcover (Blood Song by Anthony Ryan) after reading like 20 eBooks in a row before that!
Such a habit for many of us, I'm sure! But then I didn't even go look it up, like it would have been too much work or something! How lazy and spoiled I've become - eek! 😳😬🤣
