I was about to put this down, as it seemed another romance novel (outdated but 30 some years) where the woman is helpless so needs a man to tell her everything she should do, but then a tabby cat showed up. Any man who owns a tabby cat can’t be all that bad.

Ima keep reading this for the cat. That probably makes me insane.
