*Don't skip and shun your devotions. You need to spend unrushed time with God.
*Never forget or reject the beginning of wisdom.
"As you receive His wisdom, you deposit it into the archives of your heart, and it will bear fruit at exactly the right time."

In the 3rd chapter, I learn that I am the captain of my life. It is me who has to sit upon the Lord and hears his instructions.
This chapter really hits me on my face because lately I always blame the circumstances instead of deciding to take responsibility of my life. "Don't wait for others to spoon-feed". I am highlighting the verses, so I can reread it to gain more understanding.

Consequence: back-end price, it teaches you from your mistakes
Two pains: Discipline and Regret
Bible is a collection of the good and bad stories which can be applied in our life to avoid us doing the same mistakes. It is "the wisdom of the ages".
Words of wisdom are the same, what make it different is how we value it.
