Dear Mr. King, why do you hate dogs/me so much?
I've had to take a break while I contemplate the chances of coincidence versus King being an evil warlock using literature to do his evil bidding. Just finished 'dog gets hit by car, sobbing child' scene and meander outside to witness dog gets hit by car, sobbing child scene. Unsettling.
