I am honestly NOT loving how this author chose to describe the young girls (and women) who are portrayed in this book. I feel like her wording is very demeaning and that there was definitely a more tasteful way to describe these characters. The way this book reads makes it come across as the author disliking anything other than what the world deems is beautiful. Still reading, but honestly so far I am not impressed.
