The Zodiac Killer sent multiple letters to three different newspaper companies, inside had ciphers or clues. The first cipher was figured out by a high school teacher and it read "I like killing people because it is so much fun it is more fun than killing wild game in the forest because man is the most dangerous anamal of all to kill." This is a famous line from a movie called "The Most Dangerous Game".

I learned that the police never caught the Zodiac killer. Because of the many books, shows, songs, and moves made of him, there were many copycats that came into light, but unlike the Zodiac, they were eventually caught.

Over the years, many people injected themselves into the investigation, bring many suspects to light. One suspect, Allen, the police searched his boat, but found suspicious stuff but couldn't convict him of the crimes.

The Zodiac had at least five work forces trying to catch him, but to no avail. Even though the Zodiac said he never left fingerprints, many were found at the crime scenes. Upon further analysis, they found a size 10 1/2 wing-walker(military shoe) print in the sand.

I have read today that the Zodiac moved on from young couples to young people one at a time, starting with a cab driver. He later than kidnapped a mother and her infant daughter to kill, but failed as they fled into a field. In October 1969, a person made a call to this famous attorney Melvin Belli claiming to be the Zodiac killer, but was really a mental patient in Napa State Hospital.

I read today during SSR how the Zodiac Killer started to kill. I also read that he started out attacking young couples in their cars, but suddenly progressed and was able to find ways to hide his face from his victims. Once the name the Zodiac Killer came out, theories on how he got his name ranged from because of him liking a band called Zodiac to witchcraft.
