I got sucked in by this. I'm loving the relationship between Molly and Rath (wasn't really a fan of Rick to begin with) and I'm enjoying witnessing Molly's development in her abilities. Clarissa still seems a little sketchy, but all antagonists are. I found Rennie's spiel in Molly's room a little confusing, but the concept of having Autumn's spirits around is pretty cool. I'm enjoying it thus far.

I thought about giving up this book because I felt like I was forcing myself to read it (typically I'll find myself wanting to keep reading if I really enjoy the book). However, I told myself I'll keep reading because I didn't want to give up on it so soon. It's picking up again; the events are a healthy mix of unique and cliché and it's really enjoyable. Will definitely keep reading.

I was surprised to find out that I enjoyed the opening two chapters of this book. i was prepared to unhaul it if I didn't enjoy it because I've never read a zombie trope before and I wasn't too sure if I'd enjoy it. I'm pleasantly surprised. I enjoy the informal writing style and Molly's character is really appealing to me. I like how the author has included real people and events and adding a mythological aspect.
