This isn't the version I'm reading so I'm actually on 246/364
I've liked this book less and less as I've read it but Chapter 10 is the worst by far. The whole chapter is about how housework is actually easy and housewives make it harder to feel better about their lives. There's probably a grain of wisdom in there but the author is so demeaning and pretentious I can't find it.

Concentration camp comparisons. More inferring causation from correlation and also more blaming women for their unequal life.

Someone should have explained to her that correlation =/= causation. Friedan seems to blame women for the feminine mystique. Also we've come to the homophobic parts as well. This book continues to be a disappointment. Also she's a Freudian somehow which is strange.
