Just finished the strange case of x, an interesting view into the twisted creative process for a version of Vandermeer. Who and what define sanity? My tremendous fear of knowing your reality is correct but being unable to convince anyone of that is front and center here. This was short and entertaining

About to start The Cage which I've been lead to believe may be a horror story. I've made slow progress lately although I'm enjoying the book. I typically like more character development and consistent plot but I suppose the world is the character and every page develops its plot. Weird to think that way. Time to get back to it.

The second story of the history of the city was fascinating to me. I enjoy world building more than I expected. Can't get into actual history, so I'll probably give some creative / narrative non-fiction a look in the near future. The story about Martin Lake was ok but I may reread as I've seen plenty of people calling it their favorite. To each their own, I suppose.

Received this as a gift in Christmas 2018 and have been waiting for a chance to start it. The intro by Moorcock had me googling to see if the book titles were real. I'm enjoying "Dradin, In Love" so far and am anxious to see what comes next.
