Lester Del Rey’s story about vampirism could have been a bit ho-hum, but he kept it interesting via its approach. Kind of want to see what else he wrote.

This story about Pan embodied in a floor tile, of all things, got pretty engrossing. But I’m starting to wonder if there was some kind of editorial mandate to these contributors to the magazine to always bring things back around to a theoretical mundane explanation for the scenario.

Manly Wade Wellman lives up to his reputation with that story. Very compelling adventure yarn with spooky undertones. Classic pulp premise.
