Giggling women are a huge pet peeve of mine. A man threatening a woman to hit her when she leaves the house doesn't appeal to me. She is his wife not his prisoner. I'm not sure but I think the story is set in the early 30s since the Great Depression began in August of 1929. I like the writing and yet I feel totally bored. Trey can be charming but he's got a nasty temper. Maybe another DNF. We'll see...

I am finding it totally disjointed. Should have waited for opinion before getting it. Yeah, it is hard to know when it is set.
