throughout the book so far it had came up a few times about charlies relationship with his mother and how he doesn't like talking to her anymore because he felt she left him and his dad for another man in a different state and i can relate this to some of people i know and how they don't like to talk to a parent because they have a boyfriend or girlfriend and that was just connection i had found.

when one of the characters named Nate refuses to believe or accept his friend, charlie, problem about running for the position of becoming the president of student consul he goes out of his way to insult him in front of the school but in the end of the Nate still drives charlie home even tho they are still mad at each other which reminds me of of my sibling in away because we fight but still talk to each other.

so the story is about a dude who is present of robotics club and his childhood friend who is captain of the basket ball team and their friendship kinda reminds me of my friendship with me and one of my friends and how we are opposites.
