When we work together, we create a synergism in which each participant is strengthened and more is accomplished with significantly less stress or pressure on everyone's shoulders than when we work alone. In addition, when we vicariously feel the heartache of another, we often gain strength and wisdom from a particular trial without having to experience that trial ourselves.
