This gets into some fairly hard core BDSM. It also doesn't really work well as a standalone book IMO. See what you think. :)

I wouldn't say cliff hanger, more that the real issues between these men remain buried and unaddressed. They both have serious problems they aren't confronting. So this book drags them out, the next book is them sort of trying to deal with them but mostly unseriously going through the motions and in the last book they are forced to face them, both individually and together. So you have to read the whole arc to get there.

Ah well, depending on how I feel by the end of this I may make the exception and read on.
Camille, no worries about a cliffhanger, although I can see what Kate said about getting a more clear relationship arc by going into the next books. My only issue is that I don't feel compelled to continue. :/ I'm interested in seeing what you think by the end of this one.

I need to read faster, RL be damned, and see what undergoes a 180 here.
Hector is overly possessive and has anger issues. Sam is clinically depressed and insecure. They feed each other's problems. You will see. :D
