I really enjoyed this book. It did not have a happy ending, it was unclear in most instances who was good and who was evil and it was impossible to predict what was going to happen next - so not my usual read. And additionally, this story was told from a teenage boy's perspective. And yet I thoroughly enjoyed it and have already purchased the next three in the series.
