I am almost finished this so I am just going to say: I have always loved our moon. It’s visually stunning, a poetic inspiration, an astronomically scientific marvel that really drew us out into the cosmos (or so I choose to believe). And it’s only the beginning! So many cool moons! While not being very intelligent and not especially science-minded, this book made me feel like I could understand moon science—

Currently waiting to hear if Neptune’s moon Triton has the potential to be inhabited by humans, making Samuel R. Delaney’s novel Trouble on Triton and futuristic possibility... this is very important to me

I have now learned that the Moon has glassy beads that are frozen droplets from past explosions and the only valentine I will accept this year is one such bead

I am so excited to be reading about moons!!
