At the time I read this, I felt like I had been missing something in my life but couldn't quite put my finger on what it was. I don't really know quite how to put it even now, but for some reason this book struck a nostalgic feel for me that really hit the spot. I'm usually a fan of Neil Gaiman's writing but this was next level. Not to mention the audiobook was superbly read which added to the whole experience.
