What's the difference between a country who's successful and those that don't?
Geographical? No- illustrated by example in Nogales, Mexico and Nogales, USA
Culturally? The people in Nogales were culturally similar.
Lack of competent people in power? The author argues not quite.
He argues that the main difference is whether or not a nation can mobilise people's incentive and resist the urge to have power concentrate.
