skimmed the last 120 pages last night and will sit down to read them tonight. I’m anxious to go back and reread the ending properly, and then potentially flip through again bc I think the nested stories and pull quotes will yield even more plot lines. I adore how the book itself is like Le Cirque des Rêves!

It’s really hard to understand what is happening since there is such a strong surrealist, magical realism element happening. I have not read a book like that in a while, so it’s a conscious effort to let the story unfold without rushing it and skimming ahead! The visuals and descriptions are amazing.
