Not sure why I am so enthralled with the Civil War, but has always been so. This is Missouri, a part of the war I am less familiar with--less knowledge of the battles. It must have been hell living on the edge, though, with half of the inhabitants leaning North and half South. A dangerous place to be--much more than deeper South where you could mostly count on people feeling as you did.
