Coding now makes a whole lot of sense to me. Having ravished the 3rd chapter and now with a firm understanding of the importance of standards like Unicode UTF-8 and ASCII, I can only say hats off to Lady Ada Lovelace. She was doing all these, literary, without the help and standard guide, defacto or dejure notwithstanding. One way to look at it, I mean hehe...

I loved the breakdown on the Open Systems Interconnect Model for firm understanding and the explanation behind why it is considered a defacto standard compared to its sister the Internet Model (dejure standard). in the first chapter. I can't wait to finish this one.
